Ways to Learn Together

You may work with me privately, in a small group, as part of a class, or remotely.  You can expect clear communication and a caring environment that will optimize your learning.

Private Lessons

  • Focus in-depth on whatever you and your horse need, whether that’s solving a specific problem, helping you achieve a goal, or more generally advancing your skills and horsemanship.
  • I teach at my place, or I can come to you.
  •  $60/hour (plus a small travel fee to locations outside the South Valley)

Semi-Private/Small Group Lessons

  • Groups of 2-4 people provide powerful learning opportunities.
  • You will receive individual attention from me.
  • You will learn from watching people practicing techniques and finding solutions with different kinds of horses.
  • Small groups build community and provide warmth and support.
  • Create your own group with friends or family, or I can group you with a couple of other clients who are working on similar issues.
  • Sessions are held at my barn, or at another location that’s convenient for everyone.
  • More affordable: $40/hour (plus a small travel fee to locations outside the South Valley).

Long Distance Learning

If you live outside New Mexico, there are many ways to connect without being in person:

  • Phone calls are a great option if you need support or want to talk through problems and solutions.
  • Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, or Pivo Meet will allow us to “meet” remotely as you ride or play with your horse.
  • You can send me a video of you and your horse.  After I review it carefully, we will discuss feedback by phone.
  • $50/hr
Want to see if I might be a good fit for you?

Feel free to reach out by phone or email, or submit the form at the right. We can schedule a phone call to speak in depth about what you need.

“It was a pleasure having Cassandra work with my mare. She worked with her to load in the trailer and fixed some of her saddling issues. Cassandra has a lot of patience and knowledge with horses. She passed along her knowledge which was helpful. I would highly recommend her.”
